After a couple of friends recommended this restaurant, my husband and I decided to give it a try since we were in the mood for Chinese cuisine. Just so you know, this restaurant promotes itself as an Asian Fusion spot. Upon entering, we were captivated by the beautiful mural and hanging lanterns that created an exotic ambiance. We were quickly seated and handed menus. Two ladies served us: one handed us the menu and later delivered our entrees, while the other took our orders. Since we came during lunchtime, we noticed there was a lunch menu. Here's what we ordered: I chose the Fermented Black Bean Fish dish, which was packed with flavor and aroma from the fermented black beans. It had a perfect balance of sweet and salty, with the onions and peppers helping to tone down the strong saltiness. My husband ordered the Dry Pot with fish, which was cooked in a spicy sauce and included shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and a generous amount of dry chili peppers. The heat from the chilis nicely complemented the delicate fish. Both dishes featured fish that was lightly battered, quickly stir-fried, and remained tender without being overwhelmed by the other ingredients.

We ordered dry pepper chicken, spicy boiled fish, chicken fried rice. All the three dishes were so yummylicious. Small restaurant serving some amazing food. Definite must try restaurant.

Payment: American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa Best authentic Chinese restaurant in between Highland Park and Princeton (Not including Highland Park and Princeton, Route 1/Route 27). Pretty much the only Chinese restaurant in the area that doesn't feel like it's serving take-out food. The main entrees on the menu are smartly broken down by cooking and sauce style then pick the meat, rather than list them individually as hundred of dishes that a lot of Chinese take-out restaurant do. Dishes to try: 3 cup chicken, boneless chicken in a semi sweet soy sauce glaze with garlic, ginger and basil. It's served in a pan over fire Salt & White Pepper Crispy Chicken, if you like popcorn chicken Ginger Scallion Fish, if you want light fish Salt baked fish, if you like fried tempura texture Dry pepper fish, similar to previous dish but with a little bit of heat. Cumin lamb Taiwanese Minced Pork Rice. Fatty stew pork over rice Usually they will also have 2-3 special that's listed at the waiting area or on the board in the back.

Possibly THE best Chinese food in Central NJ. Best I ever had in 30+years in Middlesex County , Princeton, Princeton Jct., Plainsboro, Cranbury, E & W Windsor, E, S, N. and New Brunswick, Freeholdand all surroundiung areas. Their Homestyle Bean Curd and Veggies has veggies I never saw before - in a delightful sauce. They will prepare any dish mild to hot. Attentive staff. But the food! I can't wait to go back. Worth the trip. Head and shoulders above the rest. It'sin the strip mall with the Kendall Park P.O.

Picked up food for takeaway on a Friday. It was packed with plenty of people waiting to be seated. Staff was friendly and quick. I ordered their chili pork belly under their cold appetizer. Also ordered shrimp fried rice and general tso. Figured I keep it simple for the first time visiting. My husband ordered a spicy rib eye soup. It was huge! His only complaint was that their was too much whole peppercorn and it was a little overpowering at times. Will definitely return to try other items!
